The Three Ds of Message Training

Make sure you're prepared for any type of messaging; follow my three Ds to develop your message, have the discipline to stay on message, and deliver that message appropriately and consistently.

Not only is it important to “look” the part, but having your 3Ds (Development, Discipline, Delivery) of messaging down, and knowing how to direct a camera to put you in the best light possible.

What’s your filming location? A busy lobby? Windy outdoors? A quiet office? It’s important to be cognizant of your surroundings when setting up any kind of on-camera work, especially if there is any sort of distracting noise, like someone making copies, or putting your back to the wind to insure good audio. Also, are you sitting or standing? What will show up in the background?

You want to make sure it’s nothing distracting to take away from what you’re saying. You also want to make sure that you aren’t rocking or bouncing in your chair, that’s why I always recommend standing interviews.

My award-winning background in television news, public service announcements, documentaries, and more makes me a leading expert in video work and on-camera training. I'm here to help you be successful! I can show you some fun and affordable platforms to get your message across to different audiences, and I can show you some basic video shooting tips and tricks, in case you want to shoot your own video.

Whether you’re in the midst of a national news event, or the basic day-to-day news cycle, I can prepare you for your daily grind, or when a crisis hits. Let's get you trained and let’s start working together, today!
